Thanks for visiting The Roaming Roberts (theroamingroberts.com). We want to be upfront about how we earn money from this site, so you can decide what’s right for you.

What this means

Some of the links on this website, and in our YouTube video descriptions, are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, or book through it, we may earn a small commission from the company. This costs you nothing extra. The price you pay is the same whether you use our link or not.

Our promise to you

• We only recommend things we use or believe in. Our cruise essentials, packing items and travel gear come from our own experience, or from careful research when we say so.
• Commissions don’t change our opinions. We share our honest views, including the downsides, whether or not a product has an affiliate link.
• Our trips are ours. Unless we clearly say otherwise (for example, “this cruise was gifted” or “this hotel hosted us”), we pay for our own cruises, hotels and travel. If we ever receive a free or discounted product or stay, we will tell you.

Where you’ll see affiliate links

You may find affiliate links on our Cruise Essentials page, in packing and planning posts, in hotel and accommodation reviews, and in the descriptions of our YouTube videos. Where we can, we’ll note an affiliate link near the link itself, for example “(affiliate link)”.

Our affiliate partners

As we join programs, we will list the names here.

Each program has its own terms and privacy policy, and they may use cookies to record that you came from our site.

Your choice

You never have to use our links. If you’d rather not, you can go directly to the company’s website. We appreciate it if you do use them, because it helps us keep creating free cruise and travel content.
